Oral Presentation (DRAFT)

ORAL PRESENTATION

Assignment: You will give a 10-12 minute summary of Essay Assignment 2.  The summary should include a:

  • BRIEF synopsis of the work (this should NOT be the bulk of the presentation)
  • statement of the thesis of the paper – what theme have you addressed in the paper; what other work we’ve looked at did you compare/contrast the work with?
  • summary of the specific examples used for supporting the thesis
  • PowerPoint or another graphic aid in your presentation

There will be a sign-up sheet in class for a specific time for you to give your presentation on the date noted on the course outline.  IF YOU MISS YOUR PRESENTATION TIME, YOU MAY NOT MAKE UP THE PRESENTATION.
